About the event

ree

To date, five generations are working side by side.
Each shaped by different experiences, technologies, and values. Without intention, these differences are ripe for misunderstanding, assumptions, and disconnect. The truth is, these changes aren't going anywhere, if anything they will worsen with time. Do you want to end the year with frustration? Do you want to start the new year with resentment? We can do better.
This workshop is about turning generational tension into teamwork.
Do you often hear co-workers bucketing people into categories and making assumptions? It could something like this: "Gen Z'ers/Millenials/Gen X'ers/Boomers don't know how to fill in the blank."
When we move past stereotypes and lean into what each generation uniquely contributes — wisdom, adaptability, innovation, and purpose — we unlock a culture that’s more connected, innovative, and human.
Together, we’ll explore what shaped each generation’s view of work, how those perspectives show up in communication, motivation, and collaboration, and how we can bridge the gaps to build mutual respect and synergy. Through conversation, storytelling, and reflection, participants will: - Identify the strengths and blind spots of each generation represented in their workplace - Recognize how assumptions or biases might be impacting teamwork - Learn practical strategies for leveraging generational diversity as a cultural asset, not a challenge By the end, you’ll walk away with a richer understanding of what each generation needs to thrive and how your team can facilitate conversations that lead to understanding, not opposition.
