Vision Mapping

It’s Time to Rethink Strategic Planning:
Your Workplace Future Needs a Roadmap, a Guide, and The Right People at The Table

What is Vision Mapping?
Vision Mapping is my version of strategic planning, built on the Culture Roadmap Framework - where People, Process, and Productivity are our north stars.

At its core, people are the foundation, because you cannot plan for the future of an organization without centering the people who make it possible. Without them, it’s just data analysis and document review.
Every goal, every benchmark, every dream is carried out by a person or a team.

In a time of increasing technology, culture and human connection must be woven into every decision about the future. That’s where Vision Mapping comes in: a process that honors everyone's voice while laying out a roadmap for the future journey ahead.

The Promise:

Vision Mapping moves your vision from big ideas and intentions into realistic pursuits and actionable planning. It gathers the right voices, keeps top priorities as the focus, and produces a tangible roadmap that is inspiring and achievable.

We balance imagination with practicality so your plan
is not just aspirational. It is actionable.

Five Steps to a New Vision

STEP 1: Who is At The Table? Effective strategic planning starts with strategically deciding who is at the table. Lucy works with you to narrow down your planning group.

STEP 2: Assessment & Listening Sessions
Gather insights across the organization and board to surface strengths, challenges, ideas, and aspirations. Invite people at every level to share hopes and needs so every voice informs the work.

STEP 3: Mission, Vision, and Values Check-In
The planning group reviews the previous strategic plan to ensure the mission, vision, and values are still aligned with the organization’s direction and priorities. From there, we decide what should carry forward into the new plan, what needs refinement, and what should be left behind.

STEP 4: Determine Priorities
Gather the group to identify the 3–5 key priorities ahead of the Vision Mapping session. This preparatory step ensures we enter the planning day with the groundwork laid and the heavy lifting already done.

STEP 5: Vision Mapping Session
The day has arrived! We come together for a half- or full-day session to synthesize all previous work and translate it into clear, actionable goals for the future.
